Email & data
Short version: no account, no tracking of what you type, and your email address is never stored.
Your quiz answers
Your five answers and the list of cards you've seen stay in this browser tab (session storage). They disappear when you close the tab. They contain no personal information and are never sent to us.
“Email this to me”
If you ask us to email you a card, we use your address only to send a one-time verification link and that card. You can only send cards to yourself — there is no way to email anyone else.
- We don't keep a list of addresses, and we don't have a database. Your address travels only inside an encrypted verification link that works for 30 minutes and only once. The link itself can't be read: it's sealed with a key only our email service has.
- When you confirm the link, this browser gets an encrypted cookie that lets you email yourself more cards for 24 hours. Only your browser holds it; to us it's unreadable without our key, and it expires on its own.
- Your address is never written to logs or analytics, never put in a readable URL and never used for marketing. To send the email we pass it to our email delivery provider (Resend), which handles it only to deliver that message.
- To forget it sooner, choose “Use a different address” in the email panel — the cookie is deleted and the session is cancelled.
- A security check from Cloudflare Turnstile runs when you ask for a link, to keep bots out. It doesn't see your address.
Analytics
We don't run analytics on this app right now. If we add them, they will only count anonymous events such as “a card was shown”, with the card's ID and your enumerated quiz choices — never your email or anything you type.
